Link Information System, Incorporated, founded in 1977, is a company specialized in developing custom computer software and focused on meeting a diverse range of corporate clients’ unique needs. Some of our many services include the design and development of customized financial programs, the implementation of flexible mobile technology software solutions, and the computer-assisted design and implementation of closed-captioning for major broadcast networks. LIS, Inc. is a privately held company that operates out of the world-famous Shibuya neighborhood in downtown Tokyo, Japan.
Our clients include some of Japan’s largest and most influential companies, such as NHK (The Japanese National Broadcast Association), Nippon Electric Company, and Marubeni Trading Corporation. These and many more companies rely on our expertise and ability to deliver effective and tailor-made software products that meet a wide range of corporate computing needs.


Directors:

Kaoru Tanaka was appointed President of LIS effective July 1st, 2010. He joined NEC in 1971. Mr. Tanaka has held senior management positions in the fields of Aerospace and Defense at NEC and NEC Aerospace Systems. He also served as president of NEC Aerospace Systems from 2006 to 2009.

Takashi Katoh, company founder, and Hiroyuki Adachi both came to Link Information System from NHK, where they gained invaluable experience working on computer systems designed to manage broadcasting tasks, subscriber payments, and financial accounting.

Makoto Kurata is an experienced engineer specializing in computer networks and CAD (Computer Aided Design). He now coordinates the design of embedded software for mobile telephones and other devices.

Takanori Adachi is a consultant in the area of distributional systems. He also serves as managing director in charge of LIS s development of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and trading transaction systems such as supply chain management.

Kazumi Tomizawa is head of Link Information System’s management staff division, and also divisional manager of custom software application development. Additionally, he possesses extensive entrepreneurial experience in the computer industry.

Youichi Taira is a marketing director with in-depth experience derived from his experience working for KDDI (an international telecommunications corporation) over the course of two decades.
